The Ancient Studies Institute was established by Paul Emile Anders to further research about the ancient world and to encourage the study of its languages and culture.  He has an M.A. (New York University) and studied ancient history under Arnaldo Momigliano at the University of London. He formerly taught at Hartnell College.

Volunteer and Unpaid Internship Opportunities

1. Computer and administrative assistance.

2. Research and teaching projects include Lactantius and Nonviolence, Greek grammatical terminology, compiling vocabulary and grammatical aids, and creating sound recordings; for these projects Latin or Greek and computer skills are necessary and French or German are helpful.
